St.
Joseph’s Food Service provides a variety of meals in Hughes Hall, some
of them regularly scheduled such as school lunches and Bingo
refreshments, others catered for special events. Breakfast and after-school
snacks can be provided for school children as well as other activities.
To reserve use of
the Hall and/or Kitchen, please contact the Parish
Office (330.274.2253) and then Al
Roberts (330.274.2268).

Al Roberts,

School lunch
menus are available through the school office or click button to view
the monthly menu provided in Adobe Acrobat format. (You'll need an Acrobat
Reader to view and print. If you don't have the reader, click on the
icon to download a free copy).
Students are offered
a variety of nutritious lunch choices throughout the week. Standard
alternatives are an option: Monday and Wednesday-hamburger on bun; Tuesday
and Thursday-hot dog on bun; Friday-breaded fish or sub; PBJ everyday;
vegetarian alternates available everyday upon request. Student price
is $2.00 per meal. Reduced price $.40 and free lunch plans available
to families who qualify (applications and instructions are available
prior to the beginning of each school year - if families think they
might qualify, please do apply; if you do qualify it will help you &
our school -- you must reapply in September to re-qualify for this school
year). Kindergarten Snack Juice and Milk may be prepaid for the school
year. Payments for ala carte snack items should be paid for at point
of sale. Guest lunch prices are $4.00 for adults & $1.50 for pre-schoolers
(please call by 10:00 a.m. to reserve your lunch choice).
Student lunch prices for families who do not qualify for free or reduce
price meals according to government guidelines will be $2.00 per meal.
We encourage you to prepay money into your student(s) account. Prepaying
is beneficial to us all in that it is usually a once or twice a month
item for you to contend with, saves you time, and speeds up the serving
line process on our end. We hope you will consider employing this great
option. Families will receive monthly meal menus and an account status
letter for your student(s) on which to place their meal orders. On the
account status letter you may also indicate if you are sending in prepayment
for Snack Juice (Kindergarten only) which may be prepaid for the school
year @ $41.75 or installments of 2 @ $21.00 or 4 @ $10.50. Prepayments
for Milk are also accepted @ $.45 per ½ pint carton. Payments
for ala carte snack items should be paid for at point of sale.
St. Joseph's Food
Service can also provide ice cream treats, cupcakes, etc. for your child's
in school class birthday or other special occasion party. Just call
the Food Service Office through the school (330.274.2268) for more information
and to make the arrangements.

Help
Us Help The Needy St. Joseph School Food Service has been a long time sponsor
of the Market Day program. The monthly program raises funds to help
supplement the School Food Service operation. We greatly appreciate
the support of ALL our loyal customers and always welcome new customers.
In the month of April, Market Day offers schools the opportunity to
earn extra profit with a Spring Pie Sale. We are extending this opportunity
to the Crestwood Community to help us meet our needs and at the same
time help the needy in our community. You can help us by ordering
pies to donate to the 4C's (Crestwood Coalition for Community Care)
to be given to needy families for Easter. Pies to donate can be ordered
between March 8th and March 30th. All donated pies will be picked
up by the 4C's representative at our April Sale on Wednesday April
4, 2007.
Why not order a pie to donate and order one for your self? There are
11 delicious varieties to choose from - we hope you'll try AT LEAST
ONE!!! Everyone who orders at least 3 pies will be entered into a
drawing to win one of three $25 Target Gift Cards. One entry for each
three pies ordered. Drawing will be held at the sale. Winner need
not be present at time of drawing. To order your dessert and donation,
please place your order on the special order sheet. Make checks payable
to MARKET DAY. Thank you for your cooperation in the greatly needed
project.
