This area of the fairgrounds is designed just for kids where families can enjoy good, clean fun in our church-run games. Located in the shade near the food booths, this enclosed area is perfect for families with young children who can play and relax. Here you'll find the ever-popular Duck Pond and other fun games all run by St. Joseph Parish volunteers. Prizes for everyone! Face Painting and some other entertainment surprises are also in this area.

The Mantua Knights of Columbus Council #3766 provide their time and equipment for this is a real cute event on Saturday. Held for boys and girls aged 3 to 9 years old (and plenty of spectators, too!), cash prizes, trophies, and participation ribbons in each category are awarded. This event is held on Sunday afternoon in front of the church and school building where the motorcycle parking is located. Hundreds of fair-goers come pouring into the fairgrounds to see the live bands, view the pulls, enjoy the big midway, and get their fill of delicious Fair food.

Another event to please the kids (and adults, too!) is the popular Frog Jumping Contest on Sunday afternoon. Contestants bring their own jumpers or "rent-a-frog". Cash prizes, a stuffed frog toy, and Ox Roast Fair t-shirts are awarded to the best of the bunch. Look for a hoppin' good time!
We invite businesses to sponsor our tractor pulls and get your name out to more than 30,000 people during our three-day event. On Friday we have our Antique Tractor Pull. Saturday’s event includes the Tractor & Semi Pull. On Sunday we hold our 4WD Pick-Up Pull. Your business will have an ad in our Tri-Fold flyer, posts will be made on our Facebook page, and be announced throughout the pull and your company banner will be displayed on the track fence throughout the Fair. Announcements will also be made throughout the pull events and Facebook posts will highlight our sponsors. Banners may be dropped off at the Parish Center.
