FIRST SCRUTINY—On Sunday, March 23, 2025, we celebrate the First Scrutiny with our newly “Elect” at St. Joan of Arc Church during the 8:30 a.m. Mass. During this Period of Purification and Enlightenment, the Scrutinies help reveal what is weak and sinful in the hearts of the elect, so that it can be healed and also serves to strengthen what is holy. This mostly spiritual work is done with the help of Exorcisms. We are all in a time of purification during Lent. May we fully join in these intense prayers for our elect and be open to how the Holy Spirit moves in our own hearts and minds. Please continue to pray for our elect and candidates!
