As of May 28, 2022, St. Joseph Church, St. Ambrose Church in Garrettsville, St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora officially became a collaborative region known as Portage North.

Marcy Fleming is the Portage North Region Communication Coordinator. The new role was created in 2022 to bring about more effective communications in the Portage North region. She works with each of the pastors, deacons, and staff to ensure that communication among the four collaborating parishes is consistent, engaging, and timely for the people they serve. This will help to coordinate the collaboration process of the four parishes in the initial startup phase, and work to effectively move towards a cohesive plan that will meet the pastoral needs of all four parishes.
